Nipissing University Athletic Complex
The project began with the design and construction of a gymnasium, squash courts and fitness centre in 1990’s. In 2011 Mitchell Architects also designed the comparatively larger expansion with the addition of a new double gymnasium, change rooms, expanded fitness facilities and public concourse. The next expansion, already in the works, will construct classrooms, laboratories and offices for the Bachelor of Physical Education program.
